About the Arts Partnership Program
Our Arts Partnership Program provides comprehensive support to artists of color, LGBTQ+ artists and artists with disabilities whose work is community-rooted and whose values align with ours. We understand the administrative weight that comes with building out programming either as individual artists or a grassroots arts group. That’s why we can provide responsive and flexible support so that you can focus on producing meaningful work.

We support independent artists and grassroots arts groups with:
- Fiscal sponsorship, so they can receive grants and tax-deductible donations under our 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit status
- Fundraising and administrative support, including project planning, grant strategy and writing, bookkeeping and donor cultivation
- Resource navigation, professional connections and legal counsel
- Thought partnership, to navigate creative questions and to help with making their work sustainable

A Latinx community writing program designed to build empowerment and cultural pride.
Fellowship for Artists
with Disabilities
Portland Metro
Development for a tailored yearlong fellowships for artists with developmental disabilities. Each artist will be paired with an Artist Mentor who will assist with their art projects and participation in the fellowship.
Natural Law
Conservation Corps
Joseph
A project from Joe Whittle, a Native photojournalist and Fields Fellow, who is building a Native-led conservation corps to steward federal wilderness areas according to Native principles.
Northern Paiute Sasquatch Project
Warm Springs
A project from CarlaDean Caldera, a culture bearer and Fields Fellow, that will use augmented reality and physical installations on four trails in Oregon to bring Northern Paiute culture to life.
Queer Poetry Takeover
Portland
Led by writer, performer and arts organizer Given Q. Davis, they produce a monthly queer poetry event each month with an open mic and a featured poet. They plan to publish anthologies and hold workshops.

Ashland
This art studio run by Fields Fellow and visual artist Gabriel Barrera uses art and mentorship to inspire community action.

A series of lyrical documentaries and community engagement events from musician, painter and Fields Fellow MOsley WOtta (Jason Graham) about the experiences of Black artists in rural Oregon.
